The influence of different factors on corneal biomechanical properties in norm and in progressive keratoconus

A prospective study of corneal stiffness parameter 174 eyes healthy subjects with different refractions as well 56 keratoconus was carried out. The groups were comparable in age and gender composition. Correlation performed between (Stiffness Parameter (SP-A1), minimum thickness (MCT) biomechanically compensated intraocular pressure (bIOP) determined using Pentacam HR Corvis ST (OCULUS, Germany), the anteroposterior chamber (APC) value patient age. Based on multivariate regression analysis, correlation index SPA1, IOP (p = 0.00001, p 0.005, respectively) patients 0.00000, 0.0032, established. Using obtained data, tables for determination stages keratoconus, depending minimal level pressure, compiled. Application will allow practical work to quickly analyze which can be used an important diagnostic criterion keratectasia.
